Malaysian China Press published a special report on the 17th National Academic Conference of Radioactive Seed Brachytherapy on June 22, 2017.
Organized by Seed implantation Committee of Minimally Invasive Interventional Therapy of Oncology Department, Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and co-organized by St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, the 17th National Academic Conference of Radioactive Seed Brachytherapy was successfully held at Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center, which attracted numerous journalists and medical experts from all over the world.
For a better understanding of minimally invasive therapy, St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou gathered visitors to watch a demonstration video of interventional therapy and 3D printing template assisted seed implantation which was recorded in advance. Dr. Cha, director of Interventional department and Dr. Bai, leading expert of Minimally Invasive Operation Room respectively gave a detailed explanation of the operation. Additionally, Wang Huaizong, director of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) were on scene to answer the pertinent questions on medical quality management and medical service as well as minimally invasive integrated treatments on cancer, etc..
