The first information centre in Brunei--- Boai Management & Info Centre (Brunei Office) set up by St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou was officially open on June 16, 2019.
On the open day, distinguished guests included Mr. Alan Yong, General Manager of Boai Management & Info Centre (Brunei Office), Prof. Wu Qingkai, oncologist from St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, Dato Seri Prof Dr Tan Kit Weng, Chairman of federation of Chinese Medicine and Physicians Sarawak, Mr Yapp Poh Hoe and representatives of Brunei Info Centre, Ms Chua Hui Ming, Ms. Yapp Yenn Chyen and Mr Ang Poi Bing were invited to the Ribbon-cutting Ceremony. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony was held to formally designate Boai Management & Info Centre (Brunei Office) of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou as a special cancer information centre for patients from Brunei and Miri.
Later, the first health talk upon cancer prevention was started in Boai Management & Info Centre (Brunei Office), and Prof. Wu Qingkai was invited to be the keynote speaker and his speech has attracted many attendees.
Boai Management & Info Centre (Brunei Office) is aimed at at sharing information on latest technologies in cancer treatment in Brunei and Miri.
