Lorraine from Australia was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer in 2024. Local hospitals informed her that only palliative care was possible. Her massive tumor ruptured and bled, causing persistently low hemoglobin levels that required frequent blood transfusions. By the time she arrived at Guangzhou Modern Cancer Hospital, she had lost 30kg and was critically frail.
Supported by her children, she sought treatment at our hospital. Our MDT team designed an integrated minimally invasive protocol centered on vascular intervention. After three treatments, her 18.1×79.2×88.9mm tumor reduced by approximately 75%. She no longer requires blood transfusions, and her once debilitating weakness has significantly improved—transitioning from palliative care to active, effective treatment.
