In view of upgradation of the entire ward, Mr. Wang Huaizhong, president of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, said that the upgradation is not only reflected in the improvement of wards and facilities, but also reflected in the most-proficient team we organize for international cancer ward. Our initial purpose is to provide international patients with better medical services and create a more perfect treatment experience for them. At the same time, the hospital has always respected the cultural concepts and values of international patients, and will further upgrade related services based on the needs of international patients in the future.

Prof. Peng Xiaochi, director of the International Cancer Ward, said that St. Stanford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou is equipped with 18 cutting-edge minimally invasive cancer treatment technologies. After 18 years of clinical practice, the treatment concept has been recognized by patients from all over the world because of its good efficacy, small trauma and fast recovery. This time, on behalf of all the medical team of the international Ward, he promised to the international patients and their families that the team will do their best to do their job, provide the most scientific treatment plans and the best quality medical services, and strive to become a distinguished department of the hospital.

Adhering to the service tenet of “patient-centered”, the first international cancer ward is more elegant, comfortable, bright and clean, warm and orderly everywhere after upgrading. At present, the international cancer ward provides two room types: general ward and VIP ward. All rooms are equipped with central air conditioning, intelligent call system, WiFi, sofa, TV, bathroom, refrigerator and other living facilities, which greatly meet the daily needs of international cancer patients and their families.

At the same time, our hospital constantly integrates humanistic care into the details of experience. For example, the sky garden on 4th floor has become a recreation area for patients to take a daily walk, and the public kitchen can be used by family members to cook home-style dishes for patients seeking medical treatment from foreign countries. In addition, our hospital provides more than 60 value-added services such as multi-language translation, airport transfer, medical guidance, traditional holiday celebrations, religious services, accompanying shopping trips, etc., providing intimate care for patients’ daily life and recreation.

Due to the remarkable characteristics of tumor treatment, our hospital has set up overseas offices in seven countries, including Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, to meet the needs of international patients, and has served more than 20,000 patients in Southeast Asia and even the world.

Previously, it was difficult for international patients to seek medical treatment across the country due to the impact of the epidemic. In the future, with the official launch of the new international tumor ward, our hospital will certainly bring more humanistic treatment experience to more international patients with higher quality medical services.
