On August 5, the 5th ASEAN International Integrative Oncology Medicine Session· Malaysia was grandly held in Wisma Huazong, Malaysia under the theme of "United by Integration." Experts from China, Malaysia, and multiple ASEAN countries gathered together to discuss new visions for integrated medicine, precision healthcare, and regional cooperation. The conference focused on cutting-edge topics such as cancer prevention, early screening, and minimally invasive treatments, sharing advanced experiences and innovative achievements. 

Cancer survivors shared their real-life stories of seeking medical treatment across borders, spreading hope and warmth. This grand event not only strengthened cooperation ties between China and Malaysia in areas such as technology, talent, and services but also laid a solid foundation for the development of integrated oncology medicine in Southeast Asia.

Looking back at this forum, the seeds of cooperation have taken root and sprouted across the ASEAN region. In the future, China, Malaysia, and other ASEAN countries will continue to work hand in hand, adopting an approach that combines science with compassion to promote technology sharing, standard co-construction, and capacity co-cultivation, injecting new impetus into cancer prevention and treatment both regionally and globally.
