Our Hospital Takes the Lead in Forming an Overseas Lecture Tour Expert Team, with the Specialty Alliance and Overseas Communication Achievements Simultaneously Realized
On April 13, 2026, under the theme of“Prevention, Early Screening, Early Treatment•Unite Hand in Hand Against Cancer”for the National Cancer Prevention and Control Awareness Week, the special launch ceremony for the CACA Discipline Empowerment Co-building Unit was successfully held in Guangzhou. Professor Fan Daiming, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA), attended the event in person, along with diplomatic personnel from the Consulates General of Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and other countries in Guangzhou, Professor Zhao Yong, Secretary General of CACA, leaders from the Health Bureau of Tianhe District, Guangzhou, as well as experts from Jinan University and the Guangdong Anti-Cancer Association. A host of distinguished guests gathered to witness the release of multiple important achievements.

Signing of the Specialty Alliance
At the conference, our hospital formally signed a specialty alliance agreement with Guangzhou First People’s Hospital. The two parties will jointly establish a hematology ward at our hospital, leveraging the top-tier diagnostic and treatment technologies for hematologic diseases from Guangzhou First People’s Hospital and our hospital’s established international service platform, to provide high-level medical services for hematology patients both at home and abroad.

Formation of Overseas Lecture Tour Expert Team
As a co-building unit of the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) Belt and Road International Training Program on Integrative Oncology, our hospital officially established the“Overseas Lecture Tour Expert Team”at the conference. Academician Fan Daiming personally presented appointment letters as“Overseas Lecture Tour Experts”to Professor Song Shijun, Chief Expert of our hospital, Professor Yin Pingshan in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and experts from other medical institutions. Leveraging the platform of our hospital as a co-building unit, the expert team will carry out academic lecture tours and technical exchanges in countries along the Belt and Road, actively disseminating China’s concepts and clinical experience in integrative oncology, and helping enhance the international influence of China’s cancer prevention and treatment technologies.

Achievement Report: Impressive Overseas Communication Data in 2025
Professor Zhang Fujun, Director of the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) Belt and Road International Training Program on Integrative Oncology Co-building Unit, delivered a special report titledAchievements and Future Plans of the CACA Belt and Road Training Co-building Initiativeat the conference. According to the report, in 2025, leveraging its network of overseas volunteer service centers, our hospital organized more than 280 integrative oncology exchanges and training sessions in ASEAN and Central Asian countries, completed over 3,000onlineconsultations, and hosted more than 90 international medicalgroups for on-site exchanges. In addition, the hospital carried out over 150 overseas science popularization and patient sharing events in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand, directly reaching more than 15,000 overseas individuals. These efforts were covered by over 50 mainstream overseas media outlets, including Malaysia’sKwong Wah Yit PohandSin Chew Daily, Indonesia’s Metro TV, and Vietnam Central Digital Television, achieving over one million overseas online impressions.

In 2026, our hospital will continue to leverage the platform of the CACA International Training Center for Integrative Oncology to deepen medical cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road, promote the overseas implementation of CACA technical guidelines, and bring the concepts of Chinese integrative oncology to the benefit of more patients.
Rooted in the Mission of the Co-building Unit, Deepening International Communication
The conference brought together numerous authoritative experts and diplomatic envoys from both China and abroad, fully demonstrating the international influence of the China Anti-Cancer Association’s discipline empowerment co-building initiative. As a co-building unit of the CACA Belt and Road International Training Program on Integrative Oncology and the CACA Belt and Road International Training Center for Integrative Oncology, our hospital will take this gathering as a new starting point to further leverage the bridging role of the Overseas Lecture Tour Expert Team, continuously expand overseas communication and academic exchanges, and contribute to enhancing the international influence of China’s cancer prevention and treatment technologies.
